Sillafu is a simple, free spelling game that presents a picture of an animal, a mix-up of the letters that spell its name and blanks for each letter.
The name of the animal is spoken when pressed and the app says "well done," but does not read each word when completed. There are also no animal sounds.

Boy, do I like this app! It's the story of a frog who eats letters so he can buy cool clothes.
In Licking Letters, children must spell basic words by using Hoppy The Frog's tongue to capture letters passing above him. Since the 3-5 letter word is a "target" (spelled ahead of time) and the frog simply has to be pressed to make it work, the app is perfect for the toddler/preschool set.
