Bottom Line: Kids Maps is a terrific modern translation of an old-school U.S. map puzzle. Highly recommended.

When my son Ryan was much younger (3-4), one of his favorite toys was a big electronic puzzle game that was a map of the United States. Each of the states was a piece to the puzzle and when you placed them in correctly, it would say the name of each state and it's capital.

The problem, in addition to eating through batteries four at a time, was that we kept losing states and would end up digging in toy boxes and scouring under tables and couches to find them. The smaller states were particularly troublesome...

Our lets-do-something-more-fun-than-just-say-hello question this time: What is your favorite state? (We will accept non-U.S. states from those who have never been to the U.S.)
