VERY IMPORTANT: In Songify, there is a page of songs shared by other users that includes some definitely-not-safe-for-children material. That page can be locked, however, very easily by simply pressing a button and entering a four-digit passcode. Be sure to lock that page before letting any child try the app by themselves.

Songify is a free app that records spoken voice and turns it into a cool song. For example, your child (or you...as this is a fun app for a wide range of ages) can say "I love dancing" and within a few seconds, it's a song! The app adds music, changes the tone in the voice and uses the speech in parts to turn it into a really enjoyable/funny mix. 

Songs can be saved, emailed, posted on Facebook or sent via Twitter.

There are in-app purchases for other beats and types of songs, but, as I usually suggest, you can also just keep the free stuff. I rated only three and a half stars because of the shared songs page. If there were a real kids version without that section, the rating would be four and a half or five stars.
