Check out KaBOOM's Scary Playgrounds! photo contest winners!

The national nonprofit KaBOOM! recently completed their Scary Playgrounds! contest (via a free iPhone/iPad app of the same name) as part of their mission "to raise awareness of the importance of play while also bringing a few more great places to play to kids across America."

The winners received up to $2,000 in VISA gift cards and are eligible to apply for a $15,000 grant to help repair the playground they photographed!

In addition to the one above, here are the photos of the playground deemed "most scary!"
