We've got a SUPER-AWESOME new giveaway starting today for one of most sought-after children's apps on the market, Articulation Station Pro! The app, currently on sale (through Sunday, 2/12) for $50, is regularly priced at $90...and we've got THREE to give away!
Articulation Station helps teach children all the sounds of the English language using six different activities! Heather is working on a review as we speak, so to speak.
There are also links to the free version below if you'd like to try it.
From iTunes:
Created by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, Articulation Station Pro is a full-featured articulation application to help children as well as adults learn to speak and pronounce their sounds more clearly. Beautiful high quality images represent target words to be practiced in fun-filled activities with the assistance of a SLP, teacher or parent.
Articulation Station Pro is the first and only articulation application offering practice at the WORD, SENTENCE and STORY levels! These activities are so fun your kids will love practicing their sounds and forget they are actually "working" on their articulation.
Each of the 22 sound programs target sounds in the initial, medial and final positions of words, sentences and stories. The majority of sounds (p,b,m,d,n,t,k,g,f,v,ch,j,z,sh,th) have 60 target words each. Some sound programs (l,r,s) are targeted in blends as well and have even more target words! All together Articulation Station Pro has over 1,000 target words!
Please enter using the Rafflecopter box below! Be sure to enter all the requested information for each entry. Winning entries are all verified before the winners' list is posted.

I am friends with our school district's Assistive Technology Director, and she is also an SLP. I would love to win one of these codes so that I could give it to her and help children from all over the area who are working on articulation. We are rolling out iPads in place of classroom laptops/desktops or a stand alone computer lab for grades K - 6, so the iPads would be readily available to run this app. The app sounds very comprehensive in its approach to artic!

This app is awesome. I am crossing my fingers so I can have sounds in addition to /p/. I would love the opportunity to win this app...I have no funds from my school district to purchase apps for my district provided iPad...the kids are getting so tired of flashcards and bingo :-)

My friend, an SLP, could get so much use out of this app. My entire class (Sp Ed) is on her caseload so we could use it in both settings!

An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was performing just a little analysis on this. And he in actual fact bought me breakfast since I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I really feel strongly about it and love reading additional on this topic. If achievable, as you develop into expertise, would you mind updating your blog with extra details? It is actually extremely helpful for me. Huge thumb up for this weblog post!
