Do schools kill creativity?
That's one of the more than 900 talks assembled in the app TED. We've dedicated a few Good Free Apps of the Day to apps that encourage continuing education/development for parents and educators and today we're adding another to that list. TED has been among the top 10 free education apps for quite a while.
TED is a compilation of interesting and inspirational videos (almost 1,000 of them) promoting the "the power of ideas" in regards to all sorts of different topics. The most-watched TED video, with just under 10 million views is titled "schools kill creativity," so this is not your usual tame, conference-type stuff.
(BTW, I'm not stating an opinion either way on that topic. I just thought it would be an interesting one for many of our readers.)
