Good Free App of the Day: Touch the Sound!

Today's Good Free App of the Day comes courtesy of Deanne who sent me an email that only contained the URL. I guess we've reached that level of comfort in our email discourse.

Anyway, today's GFAOTD is a fully customizable app where children match sounds to pictures, meaning it can be used for just about any purpose. The app presents four images (out of more than 300 included)...for example, a motorcycle, a man using an electric shaver, an angry woman honking a car horn and someone using a door knocker. The sound of knocking is played and the child has to press on the correct image.

 

Because of the customize options, however, the app could be used for any purpose: emotions, colors, letters, the periodic table, cast members of Jersey Shore...whatever you want to teach.
