The full title of today's second GFAOTD is "Real Fireworks Artwork 4-in-1 HD 2012 Free - Play Awesome Light Show, Enjoy Fun Visualizer, Make Cool Pictures and Draw Amazing Art with Colors & Glow," which just about covers it, description-wise.
Although there's certainly nothing educational about playing with real fireworks, this app makes tinkering with virtual ones quite the artistic endeavor as there are a ton of different options and settings for an older child and the fun of just touching the screen and watching fireworks go off for the younger set. The options include artist mode, zero gravity, glow fireworks and, of course, simulated real ones. Cool stuff.
There are, however, links to just about every social media site and iTunes so keep that in mind for the younger kids.

Nothing educational about playing with real fireworks? Only physics, chemistry, measurement, mathematics, acoustics, programming...

Kate:
Understood, but I'm going to venture a guess that the overwhelming majority of people shooting off fireworks don't discuss the physics, chemistry, measurement, mathematics, acoustics, programming...and neither does this app.
