Today's first GFAOTD is a mix of good and bad. I love the game itself, although it's a tad short, in which children draw a stickman and other various objects and then watch them come to life in a humorous illustrated story involving a dragon and sharks.
The bad is that the app has a banner ad at the bottom of each page and social media links. You can turn off the ads, however, by disconnecting the device from from 3G and/or Wi-Fi.
It's a really terrific free app and I'm disappointed I can't recommend it more fully because of all the non-kid friendly additions. The good news is that if want to avoid the app completely you can get the same game on the web free with no ads (except for t-shirts and stuff) at drawastickman.com!
If you would like to download Stickman! (FREE, iPad/iPhone with ads and social media links) please support Smart Apps for Kids by using this link button:

DrawAStickman.com is now available for iOS!
Draw a stickman, then watch him come to life in this humorous adventure. Draw various tools and objects to aid your stickman along the way. From fighting dragons to fending off sharks, this short, interactive animation is filled with excitement. You can even share a custom message with your friends via Facebook, Twitter, or email.

Every day we pick what we affectionately call the Good Free App of the Day, an app that we have downloaded, tested and certified: It can't have a ton of ads or just a little content with a ton of in-app purchases.
It also has to be good.
We then present them to you to read, download, and share and, based on which ones got the most hits, here are your Top 100 Favorite Free Apps!
We've done our best to only include apps that are permanently free, but sometimes developers do change their minds so please leave a comment if you find an app that's no longer free.
Enjoy!
