We posted this to the Facebook page late yesterday, but I wanted to ensure that it received the full and prestigious Good Free App of the Day treatment to ensure everyone sees it.
Toca Doctor, one of our Top Picks, is generally considered one of the best kids apps out there. It is a must-download and both the iPhone/iPod and iPad versions are free.

Great development of a terrific idea...an app that lets kids "play doctor." Another big winner from Toca Boca...
...Toca Doctor starts with a small floating assistant indicating to the child where a young patient's problems are. The child must then press on each of these areas and complete a puzzle/mini-game to heal the patient and move on to the next problem area.
There are a total of 18 doctor-themed activities that solve various patient ailments. My favorite is one I call "Help! My organs have fallen!" where the child has to drag and drop organs back into place. There are also games for putting the parts of the ear back together, squeezing eye drops into an infected eye and bandaging up a skinned knee.
