Some of you may be familiar with App Friday at momswithapps.com, a group of family-friendly developers who offer a group of apps for either free or a reduced price every Friday.
We've taken a look at the free apps available this week and have listed our general impressions and download links. This week is a cracker, with over $20 worth of apps for free.

Nearly There: iPad only. Original price: $4.99. Free all weekend. Story about Budley and Bishop, two horses on an adventure in Ireland. With watercolour illustrations and Irish music it's a sweet story with a unique look and feel.
Elfishki Game Collection: iPad only. Original price: $1.99. Free all weekend. Three games from the Elfishki storybooks in one app - Help Jeanso pack his backpack, Sea I Spy and my favourite, the Decorate the Cake game. Here you can see a delicious cake that I lovingly decorated with a seastar, octopi, snails and bats. Enjoy!
Talk About It: Objects Home HD: iPad only. Original Price: $5.99. If you've got a child in the age 6-12 range that needs practice talking about objects, this is a must-download. Designed to help encourage kids to define, describe and explain the features of items and places, it also offers a great way to practice articulation and fluency.
Jellytoons Toddler Skills - Bobo's Birthday Challenge: iPhone/iPad. Original Price $2.99. Already featured as a previous GFAOTD, if you didn't grab this app then, here's another chance. Includes 6 games for toddlers and preschoolers.
StoryBot: iPhone/iPad. Original Price $1.99. An app for teachers and parents to use with children to create stories in order to practice early creative writing skills and learn and reinforce sentence structure, grammar, syntax and sight words.
TinyLingua: Preschool Learning Activities in English and Spanish iPhone/iPad. Original Price $1.99. Five basic learning activities and three mini games designed for toddlers and preschoolers. Worth a look if you've got a little one in the 2-4 year age range.
Robot Workshop iPhone/iPad. Original Price $2.99. Not on the official MWA deal page but I noticed it had gone free so I decided to sneak it in as I like Wombi apps. Jigsaw puzzles for the robot fans in your home.
