All the apps have been updated as follows:

• Each app now has two versions of the story. One told from Heidi's perspective which is shorter, simpler and words are highlighted as read, and a narrated version for older children, with a 'Read to Me' option to encourage reluctant older readers.
• Both versions were abridged from the original book by Johanna Spyri by Deanne, one of our team members here at SAFK.
• Each app has a 'Bits and Bobs' section which includes a quiz so you can test reading comprehension, just-for-fun items like jokes and spot the difference pictures, as well as facts to provide children with more information about Switzerland today as well as contextual detail aimed at helping them better understand the Switzerland of Heidi's time.
