Icky Mr. Fox is up to no good. He's decided to dig into Mr. Rabbit's burrow and consume him for dinner! Meanwhile, unaware of his impending potential doom, Mr. Rabbit and his friend Mr. Mole are enjoying elderflower tea and a plate of biscuits...
The words aren't highlighted as read but tap on most of the items onscreen and they will be labelled visually and by the narrator. The artwork, narration and ambient music are all nicely done. The story is quirky, with a very English sensibility.
One word of caution - there is a link to the developer's Facebook page in the app.

The Icky Mr. Fox is the developer's 2nd app for iOS. Their first app was another tale involving Mr. Fox and Mr. Rabbit. Their first app is not as strong as The Icky Mr. Fox and it's in black and white, but it's still cute, free, AND available for iPhone.

As your child helps Mr. Fox tunnel downwards, I like all the little details that they can see in the cross-sectional view. Tap on them and they are labelled, some even make sounds.
