When we first meet Zoobert, he is sleeping peacefully in the sock drawer. Then the shaking begins, shake the device to wake him up and then at various decision points throughout the app, shake again to see what will happen.

I can see why she and her son really enjoyed this app. Zoobert is extremely endearing for a monster and the story is all kinds of cute and quirky. It's a winning combination.
