We know how many teachers and students are out of school and house-bound this stormy week, and we’d like to help make life at least a bit easier for you.

Help explain the catastrophic weather with topics like Hurricanes,Floods, Natural Disasters, and, on BrainPOP Jr., Fast Land Changes. Explore any other topic the kids might be interested in. As you may have read on Twitter, our headquarters in New York are without power as of October 30th, and our servers are down. We’re doing our best to assist and respond to our subscribers remotely, but we hope you’ll be patient with us over the next few days.
My children have benefitted greatly from Brainpop during hurricane Sandy. Helping young minds to understand frightening circumstances provides a sense of comfort; turning fear into inquisitive exploration of natural disasters. Having Moby to explore with makes it fun. After watching the video, my children helped me to gather flashlights, bottled water, sleeping bags,weather radio, etc. They were empowered to take control.
What a fantastic way to ease fears and equip children. I applaud you for making this available to children during this difficult time.
