It's Fire Safety Week and to mark the event I have FIVE codes for an app that will teach your pre-schooler what to do in the event of a fire.
It's not a fear-inducing app as the instructions and advice are all given through bright and friendly animations. There's lots of activities and games to play all focusing on the fire safety theme so it's fun while getting a very important message across.
We've a fire plan in place in our house, where to go and what to do or what not to do. But this app is really beneficial for the Tot as it allowed us to have the discussion about fire without terrifying her. She practised her dialling, her staying down and crawling low, and with these new skills, felt quite empowered. I highly recommend this app if you have children under the age of five in the house.
The app is reduced by 50% for the weekend and if you'd like you can purchase the app for $0.99,(iPad/iPhone) by clicking here:
Or you can enter to win by using the Rafflecopter below. Good luck everyone.

Fire Rescue is a fun app to teach your kids about firefighting & fire safety. This app has several activities as well as educational sections that are presented in a playful and engaging manner.
Fire Rescue will help teach your children how to dial 911 (this is configurable to your country’s emergency number), “stop, drop and roll,” touching the door to feel for heat & identifying objects that are hot and should be avoided. These are just some of the fun filled activities in Fire Rescue! Additionly there are plenty of tasks that will entertain and teach such as dressing the fireman & hanging up their clothes, etc!
In addition to testing the app with several children we are also proud to say that we have shown the app to some Fire departments and they were thrilled.

Lisa has been lucky enough to have a fireman visit her house and talk to the kids about fire safety. Tot got to wear the fireman's helmet and sit in the fire engine. Very exciting.

Spot on with this write-up, I truly think this site requirements far more consideration. I'll likely be once more to read a lot more, thanks for that info.
