Mostly of interest to our U.S. followers, if you're looking for an app to practice cursive this one looks very comprehensive.
Note: there is an iPhone version of this app that is always free BUT it has an in-app purchase of 99 cents in order to remove advertising from within the app. Also, only letters and words can be practiced. There's not much in Settings other than a button to switch off the writing sound effect.
However, I like the aural feedback given by the app as you write so I left this on.
The Review button will send you to iTunes to write a review there.
There are three practice modes - letters, words and sentences.
The three buttons at the bottom of the screen are: 1) turning on and off the writing prompts 2) to hear the letter or word sounded out, tap the sound icon 3) an eraser
Lots of words to choose from to practice - all sorted alphabetically.
In the sentence option, the parent or teacher types in the sentence they want the child to write out.
