We're obviously not the kind of people to play tricks on you for Halloween - it's all about the treats here!
So, as a special treat, today we have THREE Good Free Apps of the Day for you. Completely calorie free so you can download all three without fearing the impact on your waistline.
Also, none of them are Halloween-themed, just in case you've already had enough pumpkins and ghosts to last a lifetime!
** Only the apps' developers can control when an app is free or not. All apps that we post as Good Free Apps of the Day are verified to be free at the time of this post. We make no guarantees otherwise. *
First we have a couple of apps for the little ones. Color Monster, by Wombi, is normally $2.99 but is temporarily free for Halloween. This app seeks to teach and reinforce colors. There is some fruit at the bottom of the screen and the monster changes color and asks for a piece of fruit that corresponds to that color. So here, he's asking to be fed something yellow. Your child just drags and drops the correct fruit into the Monster's mouth and he's a happy camper! Drop the wrong color in there and he is quite entertainingly disgusted.

Jazzy 123 is an app that teaches and reinforces how to count as well as learning the names and sounds of a variety of musical instruments. In the first game, your child counts the number of instruments on screen by tapping on each one. They hear and see the name of the instrument and hear its sound when they tap it. In the second game, they are invited to drag a certain number of instruments on stage. Once the correct number has been reached the instruments start to play some music. Normally $1.99, it's free currently for Halloween.

Pete's Robot is an app that older kids will likely enjoy. Normally $2.99, it's free today only. Pete is a boy who, together with his dog Spot (who does all the cooking), decides to build a robot. They order all the parts they need online and eventually everything arrives. Unfortunately however, Pete overlooks the 'heartdrive' and the assembled robot spreads mayhem across town until he is finally chased down by Pete and his pup.

Every day we pick what we affectionately call the Good Free App of the Day, an app that we have downloaded, tested and certified: It can't have a ton of ads or just a little content with in-app purchases.
It also has to be good.
We then present them to you to read, download, and share and, based on which ones got the most hits from you, here are your Top 100 Free Apps for Kids! Enjoy!
