ABC Theater has three different options ; learn to read and write the alphabet song, Sing a-long, the Tot's favorite part as she gets to exercise her vocal chords, and Play a-long, a cute option to tap different letters on a brightly coloured xylophone.
Developed by IQurio, ABC Theater allows children to learn the alphabet in sections, starting first with formation and sound, then practicing sounds to music and learning the alphabet song. This can be performed in small groups of letters until your tot is more confident to tackle it all in one go. Each part of the app is introduced with the flourish of a stage curtain rising. It's like a dinky puppet theatre with animated puppets that come to life with each letter formation. (My favourite is the D for Dinosaur.)
It's very bright and colorful yet simple and uncluttered allowing children to focus on the task at hand, And lots of fun. I've heard the alphabet song approximately 167 times since we got this app but the Tot now does not skip over any letters or pronounce 'L,M,N,O,P' like 'ellamoneype.' So she's learned alot. She is the ABC queen now.
If you want an app that is a fun educational game for preschoolers with great visuals
