From a game about bugs to a storybook about math, we are rocking the science today at Smart Apps for Kids!
It's 2106 and a boy called Sparks is having a tough time with his math homework. So, together with his robot dog Widget, Sparks decides to travel back in time to find out who invented the hateful subject and convince them to STOP MATH.
Normally $3.99, this storybook is free until November 22nd only.
If you'd like to download Stop Math (FREE, iPad only) please support Smart Apps for Kids by using this handy link:

Sparks and Widget first stop on the set of a children's TV show starring Woolbert, a sheep who teaches children to count.
Realizing that Woolbert is in fact a man in a sheep costume and that he had nothing to do with inventing math, they then visit Albert Einstein and share some orange juice.
Einstein explains that math is something that helps us how to understand the workings of the universe.
At this point a really quite nice graphic pops up to illustrate the principle behind Einstein's theory of relativity and that he discovered it using math. There are a handful of these pop ups included in the story and they are well done.
Einstein explains to Sparks that math isn't something that he created - that he based his work on the ideas of others that came before him, mathematicians like Isaac Newton.
So Sparks decides to visit Newton, who turns out to be quite a pompous, egocentric Englishman. I tried not to take offence at this besmirching of my compatriot's character...
The intrepid time travellers then head back to Persia to chat to the mathematician and astronomer who gave the world Arabic numerals and the concept of zero.
Sparks seems to finally begin to grasp the concept that math is fundamental to our understanding of the world around us.
Deciding it's time to head home the boy discovers that his helmet is damaged so he will have to manually calculate how many years he and Widget need to travel into the future.
Can he use what he has learned and solve the problem correctly? Will he be able to return home safely?
Stop Math is obviously geared towards children who don't enjoy studying math but I think it's a worthwhile download for all kids.
The graphics are fantastic, the child who narrates the story does a great job and the book itself explains some philosophical and theoretical concepts in a way that's straightforward without being patronizing.
