If you’re not in a museum, or you don’t own a time machine, Connect the Dots Dinosaur from IPV Solutions is a good place to start. The free version of this app comes with 5 puzzles your children’s fingers can complete, and 22 more come with an in-app purchase of $1.99.
In the settings part of the menu, you can control sound, the timer feature, the hint level, the size of the dots, or reset the game and start over. My favorite part of the menu was controlling what the dots present as. You can set it up to be the standard 1-2-3 form we all know and love, easy peasy. Not counting yet, or is your kiddo moving on to bigger and better things like letters? This app has you covered! Simply change the setting to lowercase or capital letters. Mission accomplished. There are some links to the outside internet that are accessible by holding the link buttons for 3 seconds. I have yet to see an app do this, and it is a little more difficult to access since you have to press continually, but do notice they are there.
No in-depth reading or instructions are needed for this app- it is simply open, press, and play! There's also a cool voice over that pronounces each dinosaur name and the unique sound for each dinosaur.
Why not make it a family (or classroom, if that’s your spin) competition to see how many dinos you can build ?
If you'd like to download Connect the Dots Dinosaur HD, (FREE with IAP) here's the link to do so.
