Bottom Line: A fun little alphabet learning app for kids ages 3-6. Features lots of opportunities to practice recognizing and writing letters. Doesn’t break any new ground, but does feature a yeti. Free lite version available.

A virtual activity workbook just like the ones you used to take on car trips, except more fun. This standalone companion to The Trip Little Critter Adventure Reading app is appropriate for ages 4-7.

Bottom Line: This app, full of visually-based activities that non-readers can easily interact with and have success at, is perfect for the Little Genius at your house but it doesn't offer anything we haven't seen before.

Bottom line: Cute animal pictures, dull app. There isn't enough here to keep even a preschooler interested for more than a few minutes.
