Bottom line: A creative and engaging app for youngsters 2-6, in which they can tear down, build, fix, and create a number of real life items without getting their heads bonked or thumbs smashed under hammers. Exactly what we've come to expect from the folks at TribePlay.
Bottom line: A really enjoyable (and lighthearted) interactive scene with lots
going on for the busy firefighters. With a mere tap of a finger, perform
rescues and firefighting feats for hours.
Bottom line: lets your little one “play mom,” taking care of
the baby by finding things that upset him or make him happy. Will probably
appeal most to kids ages 3-6. Free lite version available.
Bottom Line: Extensive dress-up-a-doll app with 400+ clothing and accessory options, including a dinosaur costume! It makes creative use of technology, and it’s even free to try (with in-app purchases). There are social media and external links, however, and the full set of items costs $4.99.
Bottom line: A fairy tale worthy interactive landscape where young children can enjoy a simple interface to create and role-play in. Not much currently offered though with only one scene available.
Bottom line: Topical Spanish lessons delivered through interactive visits to locations in an animated city. The individual components are a fun way to introduce core vocabulary to kids aged 7-14 but there are some inconsistencies throughout the package.
Mezmedia is getting into the spirit of giving and has made all of their great interactive toy apps, Bamba Pizza, Bamba Post Office, Bamba Ice Cream and Bamba Burger FREE until 28 December.
Bamba makes very cute games and they're always a hit with the small girl child at my house. They are all very well done, with terrific graphics, and have nice little quirks, like the ability to send a can of worms or an old boot to some poor unwary recipient in Bamba Post Office (as well as nice stuff too).
Your munchkin is going to love these so you'd better grab them while they are free!
