Bottom Line: Grandpa in Space delivers excellent space-themed learning games about planets, shapes, math, opposites, sorting, and rhyming, as well as great video shorts from the International Space Station. Aimed at kids ages 5-8, this adventure is led by our spunky hero, Grandpa. Fairlady Media did a great job keeping the fun and learning evenly "spaced" to prevent boredom and encourage kiddos to travel unprompted.
Bottom Line: Vincent is a thoughtful, problem-solving, space-exploring anteater and everything about this app is a bit quirky in the most lovable way. Although navigation can be clunky at times, it's a fun ride. Follow Vincent's quest to find the missing green hairy ants and learn about biodiversity and ecological responsibility in this stop-motion animated story.
Bottom Line: A unique simulation app that allows the user to travel through the digestive system, using trial and error, in an educational, yet fun way. The simulation is thorough, but the app only has one to proceed through. The Amazing Digestive Journey will teach healthy tips and science in an engaging way.
