In Build a Ship with Kate and Harry, children build their own ships in five steps and then play with and steer their ships when completed. There are lots of different ship parts to use so it allows for a great deal of creativity.

Bottom Line: A storybook app containing some great interactive features, good practice for learning to follow directions, and s-blends that can’t be beat for speech therapy, but too many weak areas to recommend.

Bottom line: an amusing drawing/coloring program with easy to use features for preschoolers. Broad appeal due to the presence of that cheeky monkey and the Man with the Yellow Hat. Gets high marks for lack of ads, in-app purchases and social media links.
