And I don't mean "this would be a great app for kids," although it's an absolutely terrific way for older kids to learn the amendments; I mean for me personally.
You are probably familiar with all the "click apps" as I like to call them, where you have to run a zoo or a bakery or whatever. Click here to mix the cake, click here to put in the oven, etc.
This app is just like that but you're in charge of a law firm and in order to win you have to study and learn all 27 U.S. constitutional amendments and how they would apply to specific court cases! It was developed by retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s iCivics program.
This is a MUST download for older kids and anyone interested in in the U.S. Constitution.

Vindicate the Constitution! Decide if potential clients have a right, match them with the right lawyer, and win the case. The more clients you serve and the more cases you win, the faster your law firm grows! This is the most popular game ever made by Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s iCivics program.
Grow your Pocket Law Firm by winning constitutional cases. You’ll earn perks like:
- More lawyers to handle more cases
- A coffee machine for extra pep
- Waiting room upgrades for impatient clients
- Ads to drive more clients to your office
Praise for the web version, “Do I Have a Right?”:
"This game is sooooooooo fun!:) It is really great because you can actually get to know the Amendments pretty well."
"We played this game in class, and i loved it… this is an awesome way of learning the amendments!!"
"I had a class play the Do I Have a Right? game and I was amazed at how much they enjoyed it. I had 12 and 13 year old boys and girls begging me to let them play it. As a former lawyer, now 7th grade social studies teacher, I loved it as well--especially the touches of being able to caffeinate the attorneys for more productivity---and that the students really did learn the amendments. Needless to say I have used it every year since for my Bill of Rights unit."
--NY 7th grade social studies teacher/former lawyer
"I particularly like Do I Have a Right. It really gets the Bill of Rights ingrained in their brains. I have even had students ask if I would assign the games as homework and give points for high scores. Keep up the great work."
--Virginia Beach, Virginia teacher

Every day we pick what we affectionately call the Good Free App of the Day, an app that we have downloaded, tested and certified: It can't have a ton of ads or just a little content with a ton of in-app purchases.
It also has to be good.
We then present them to you to read, download, and share and, based on which ones got the most hits, here are your Top 100 Favorite Free Apps!
We've done our best to only include apps that are permanently free, but sometimes developers do change their minds so please leave a comment if you find an app that's no longer free.
Enjoy!
